Urban pop graffiti meets slik ski chalet, Baru Urbano serves up a cocktail of art, music and multi-cultural cuisine that engages all senses in the heart of Brickell. Nicolás Hoyos and Andres Risquez mix their comics and street art backgrounds with Chef Luis Garcia's phenomenal gastronomic talents, and mixologist Arturo Sighinolfi’s custom created cocktails. Add in top-notch DJs and you have a recipe for triumph.

Nicolás Hoyos opened his first nightclub back in his home country of Colombia in 1991 and moved on to celebrity-focused TV shows taking him to the four corners of the world interviewing A-listers. In 2002, he established G-Spot, Bogota’s most popular retro 80’s lounge located in the best entertainment district of the city. His first venture in Miami, Macondo, was the first Latin restaurant-nightclub in the city and soon became one of the best Latin clubs in the country. After four years of great success, Nicolás masterminded another hot spot in Miami, called ZOE, partnering with famous Colombian actor, Manolo Cardona.

Patrons can expect a loungy atmosphere during dinner and a lively after-hours party until 4am at Baru.  Tuesday nights cater to the queens, a.k.a. the ladies, from 7 to 11pm. For more information, visit
